Project: Cabrils Hillside Home, Private Residence, Spain
Client: Private
Year: 2022

Set in the Mediterranean hillside just north of Barcelona, the private family home in Cabrils exudes an honesty in its design language. We have worked to remove clutter and excess elements within its structure to give it a light and airy expression, blurring the lines between inside and outdoors, while creating a natural and comfortable flow through the space.

Project name: Tropical Garden in Miami

Area: 2 500 m²
Year: 2025

Location: USA, Miami

This garden is designed with a seamless integration into the natural Miami landscape, combining elegance and harmony with its surroundings. The use of subtropical plants, including monocultural flower beds, introduces a natural rhythm to the space, complementing the environment without overwhelming it. The garden’s design aligns with the idea of creating a landscape that subtly blends with the building’s architecture, highlighting the beauty of the natural surroundings.

At the heart of the garden, you’ll find a pool with sleek, clean edges, paired with a fountain shaped like large vases. Water cascades from the fountains, creating a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere that sets a tranquil rhythm within the space. These thoughtful details help craft an oasis of calm, perfect for unwinding and connecting with nature.

Surrounding the pool, we’ve designed a spacious covered terrace area. This space is ideal for relaxing in Miami’s subtropical climate. Materials like stone and wood reflect natural elements found in both the garden and the architecture of the home, creating a cohesive, sophisticated space. The terrace smoothly transitions into the home’s interior spaces—kitchen, living room, and bar—creating a seamless indoor-outdoor living experience.

A picturesque stone pathway leads from the terrace to a fire pit area, where you can unwind while taking in the breathtaking ocean view, especially stunning at sunset, when the water reflects warm hues.

This beachfront garden, inspired by tropical landscapes and Miami’s subtropical climate, provides a luxurious outdoor living space. The design is a perfect balance of aesthetics and functionality, offering privacy and comfort while fully embracing the beauty of the natural landscape.
